The Conquered Weekend

This weekend was probably one of the most stressful in my life. Well, let's say the past two weeks. Exam after exam, and work after work. Let's start with the crazy and then get to the calm, shall we? This weekend I was able to help my friend's sister out and work on Black Friday! She needed 50 people to work on Black Friday at Aldo, and we said we would help.

We were to wear all black with red accents. I had to take a mirror pic for the first time I have ever worn red lipstick. And let it be known... This is the first mirror pic I have posted!.... since junior high.

Can you tell we're sleep deprived? I have to say, I'm impressed my makeup stayed on that well for the whole work shift and two hours of sleep I got that night! Just my two cents, but I think I might have a knack for retail! I sold nine pairs of shoes to a lady. She bought some for all her daughters and a friend.

My sales were $636 for the day! Not bad for my first day ever and considering everything that I sold was half off the already discounted price. (This one lady got a pair of shoes for $10. So jealous.)

On to the Thanksgiving note!:

We had two Thanksgiving meals! For my side of the family, we always have it at noon. So we went to my grandma's and ate. After about half an hour I realized Kevin wasn't next to me anymore (my family has really captivating conversations! Don't judge me for losing my husband! haha) and I got a little panicked on where he went. I went outside, and of course he's there with my brothers in the front yard. If there's one thing that I love seeing, it's that he gets along with my brothers.

Okay, maybe he teases them a lot too, but it's funny for all of us! I'm glad my brothers know how to take a joke! And a serious wedgie... :) hahah

This was at my grandparent's house. I love the outside of their house! It's seriously so cute. We were able to spend our first Thanksgiving together!

Then....

We went to his parent's house. We ate some dinner, and of course Kevin went back outside to play football with his brothers. His sister Annie and I (we're total bffs) went outside and goofed around and took pictures.
And last but not least! We had his family photos this weekend as well. I'm so blessed to be apart of the loving and growing Boyster family!

This weekend was definitely a crazy one, but it made me so much more grateful for the love and support that Kevin shows and gives to me.

My relationship with him when it comes to  football
